"POLITICS HAS NO PLACE IN MEDICINE!" The Railroading of Dr. Bob

By Teressa Brewer

Politics has no place in medicine!

The recent railroading of Dr. Bob Oksenholt and the blatant disregard for his patients which Dr. Mullins and Mr. Cahill have demonstrated in our community is appaulling, outrageous and illegal. Our rights as patients have been grossly violated.  Our rights to our doctor ignored and trampled upon.  Dr. Bob is the only doctor I trust in Lincoln City, because he earned it, after I have survived several instances of malpractice by other doctors here and elsewhere.

Patients have been caught up in the cross fire of Mullin's and Cahill's under handed tactics and gross disregard for us our rights to our doctor, who frankly is the best doctor in town.  You can believe what his patients will tell you and the numbers will prove.  These facts don't lie.  The fact is that most all of his patients improve with his care.

He's my hero!  He removed a piece of glass out of my foot that I walked around on for FOUR YEARS, because EVERY other doctor in two different states said that I must have general surgery, which included another intubation, which would risk my voice again.  Only Dr. Bob had the courage to take that piece of glass out of my foot the way that I needed him too, without risking my singing voice, which I had lost for two years in 1999, due to another doctor's screw up while intubating me for surgery.

I am one of his patients who did not receive any first letter.  I received a follow up letter after the administration called and cancelled my scheduled appointment which was to be in only a few days.  I firmly informed the woman making the dreaded call after hearing the news, to give Mullins and Cahill a piece of my mind which I gave to her to pass onto them.

I'm seriously appalled at the disregard for us demonstrated by these SHS's administration and our doctor.  Their actions give me and all his other patients grounds for a law suit for violation of our patients’ rights and our human rights.  I believe that a class action lawsuit is the only thing that will get the message across to SHS’s administration that patients and their well-being should be their top priority, not the bottom line dollar figure or their million dollar salaries.  But good luck finding an attorney to take such a case!

Finding an attorney to take a class action is another matter altogether and has proven very difficult.  Therefore, this confirms to me again, that the greatest risk to our community’s health is corruption within our medical and legal system and this entire thing with Dr. Bob proves that to me and many others.

I’m very glad that Dr. Bob will be opening his own office here and has refused to be railroaded by SHS. I hope and pray that his office will be opening very quickly.  Bravo Dr. Bob!  I’ve spoken to several patients whom I know in the community and they want you to know that they will wait for you. Hopefully this won’t cost us our lives. We need you.  We love you.  Thank you, for being our wonderful Dr. Bob and for your incredible courage and care!

As for you, Mullins and Cahill, obviously, you didn't realize Dr. Bob's integrity or who you were messing with or how much support would rise up for him or how much his patients love him.  That's the difference between you and him.  He shows his integrity to us.  You left us hanging and demonstrated yours with your underhanded maliciousness to attempt to send our doctor away from us, ignoring what is best for us and our human and patient rights, which hit some of us like you were trying to knock the wind and our life force out of us!  How dare you!  You must often feel really chilly when your heart is so cold!

The Secret Key to Recovery for All Survivors of Abuse

‎"This is for every person in the world who has survived an abusive family, relationship or sociopath, female and male:

"Getting "through" abuse and recovering from it is easier to focus on, than getting "over" it. It takes time to heal and you are not alone in your struggle. First you must realize that you are worth it and deserve so much more. You must learn to value and love yourself and undo all the negative programming and "you messages," which you have been made to believe and become your own protector of yourself, your mind, your heart and your spirit. This is the key to recovery: Love and trust go hand in hand. One does not exist without the other. There is no real love without trust. One must learn to trust their inner instincts, how to love themselves, but to do that you must love and trust yourself first and learn to trust that urging and how to listen to that small voice within. You will learn to trust when you begin to love and trust yourself and your own instincts and judgments. Once you can do that and you've proven to yourself that your instincts were correct, you will learn to trust again. Because your own instincts will confirm to you who you can trust. This is the whole secret to getting "over" the abuse. The key is learning to trust again and first we must learn to trust ourselves. To protect ourselves we must trust our own inner judgement about who is dangerous and who is not. Having learned these things, will bring forth your own inner light, that part of you that is connected to the creator, to divinity, and it will shine brightly for others to love and learn from too." - Teressa Brewer

DIARY OF AN ANGRY BLUES WOMAN - PLAGIARISM COMMITTED AGAINST BLUESBABE by Lee Gray, Leon Forest Productions, Carl Popham and Harbinger Northwest Records

I recorded several songs at Leon Forest Productions/ Harbinger Northwest Records, here in Lincoln City,  with Lee Gray, last summer.   We also performed at Cruise Inn together,  the same songs I added my harmonica compositions too.  I wrote, recorded and performed the harmonica composition on several songs for Gray's then upcoming album, BOX WINE WOMAN including WAY MY BABY DOES ME, which is on the released album, "Lee Gray Blues Band - Box Wine Woman"

It was released Dec. 15th 2011 and is selling on CD Universe, Amazon.com, i-tunes, and other places.  It's been widely publicized in most if not all of the local newspapers.  This album was produced by Leon Forest, engineered by Leon Forest who is the owner of Leon Forest Productions and Harbinger Northwest Records as well as the keyboardist on the same album, written by Lee Gray, me and other artists on other instruments.

Today, I called Forest at his studio to inquire why he would commit plagiarism against me.  He lied and blamed it all on Lee Gray, even when it's his name on the album too.   He had the nerve to tell me that the playing on this album is not mine.  BULLSHIT!  LIAR!  I HAVE EVIDENCE!   LOTS and LOTS of EVIDENCE AGAINST LEE GRAY AND LEON FOREST!

Yo Leon!  Did you forget that you gave me a copy of my recorded work in your studio?  I still have that copy with my background vocals also and Carl sounds nothing like me.  My copy of my harp playing,  is exactly what you put on the finished product and WRONGLY AND WITH FULL INTENTION TO DEFRAUD ME AND THE PUBLIC,  PLAGIARIZED MY WORK,  and titled Carl Popham as the author and player on those parts.  You fool!   Did you think you would get away with this?  There are four harp parts in this song.  Mine a parts one, two and four.  Carl's is part three.  Other's can tell the difference you liar.  THAT IS ME on Way My Baby Does Me, and I can prove it with the original recording from the studio which was marked by Forest, with my name.  If one would stand Carl and I together to play it, you would tell that Carl IS NOT ME!  I doubt he has my signature sound, which I am known for!

Lee Gray and Leon Forest are THIEVES AND SCUM BAGS, LIARS AND MANIPULATORS as well as PLAGIARISTS!

Two days ago one of my new neighbors asked me if I knew Lee Gray.  He handed me his album, Box Wine Woman and told me the story of how he met them and what he thought.   He then told me that my playing is on this album, after he heard me on Silvertooth Slim's cuts.  He could tell the difference in a real blues artist with talent and this crap, but he definitely noticed that the harp sounds are completely different and that mine stands out to him, especially after he heard me on Slims songs.  He gave me the album and told me that he "didn't want it, because it sucks."  Really?  Well then, let me see if Lee Gray headed my warning when I told him not to use my harp parts after he ripped me off  and embarrassed the crap out of me when he attacked me at the Cruise Inn, in front of everyone there!

"The only thing I hear on this that is good, Teressa, is you!" said my neighbor, who's name is protected.   I had never seen it, or heard the finished product until just the other day, nor did I know that Lee and Leon had committed plagiarism, fraud, stolen from me.   I thought all I had to get over was Lee's malicious lies and horrible treatment and loss of income.  I knew that a libel, slander and defamation case was iffy IF I could find a lawyer to take it.  I thought I would just let it blow over.  WRONG!  It's worse than all the emotional pain inflicted, the damage I've suffered is horrible.

Today's conversation reveals more.  Obviously Lee and Leon are in on this bullshit together.  SCUM BAGS!  But I only today, just found out how bad this really is.  Now they credited another harp player who does not sound anything like me or my signature sound for my work.  Carl Popham is going to get caught in the cross fire because of you two.   HIS NAME IS ON MY WORK!  MY HARP PLAYING, MY GROWL, MY SOUND.  MY HARP playing IS BRIGHTER AND DIRTIER SOUNDING THAN CARL'S,  YOU PLAGIARISTS and THIEVES!  LIARS AND MANIPULATORS!  Neither of you would recognize integrity,  if it slapped you across the face, which is exactly what I would like to do at this moment, to say the least!  You SCOUNDRELS! The entire blues world will know what you have done to me, at the very least!   THIS WILL NOT be looked upon lightly.

At the Cruise Inn, Lee Gray ripped me off on pay and then horribly attacked me there in front of everyone present, just when we were setting up for that night's gig, because I refused to lay down with him or sign the form stating he paid me.  My name was on the marque with Lee's and he thought nothing of the position he placed me in then or the effects of his abuse.  I don't sleep with the guys I play with.  I'm not a tramp.  GET IT!

Just the idea of laying down with Lee Gray, was repulsive to me.  He's dirty, nasty and downright manipulative and deceptive, not to mention very creepy.   My working with him was a complete embarrassment because he can't play or sing worth crap.  His timing is always off and he's tone deaf, not to mention the fact that his lyrics are superficial and disgusting and he forgets where he is in the song and stops right in the middle, which was extremely embarrassing for me.

Later, many people came to my dwelling, including my other neighbor  and her friends, (these reports were recorded), to tell me that Lee Gray (who's real name is not Lee Gray), was going all around town telling everyone who would listen that I stole his music.  I don't even like his nasty music, let alone would I play it alone or with anyone else.  Nor do I sing or write songs about eating road kill cats and dogs.  Not only would I not play it, I wouldn't steal it.  I would never steal another artists music.  But he did steal mine.   He's damaged my reputation all the way to Newport.

I have not worked in my own community since then.  I cried over 8 months about this.  I've been verbally assaulted by Lee's friends and his band members.  Called a bitch and terrorized.

Now, I learn after I told him not to use any of the recordings I played on in Leon Forest's studio, at Harbinger Northwest Records, that Leon is in on this too.  I talked to Leon today and recorded the conversation.  He denied that the harp playing is me and I have the original sessions we did.  LIAR!  Carl Popham, DOES NOT HAVE MY SIGNATURE LICK OR GROWL!  MY PLAYING AND COMPOSITION IS MINE!  NOT YOURS TO STEAL!

You can hear the difference in the two of us.  NO TWO HARP PLAYERS SOUND ALIKE!  It's impossible.  Our mouths are like finger prints in that no two are alike and harmonica is an extremely personal instrument.  The tone you get from one, depends not only on your ability to play it, but also on the shape of your mouth and throat and how you use that in your technique.

Lee's ulterior motive were obvious to me when I worked with him, was to lay me down.  When I refused, this is what he did to me!  This creep is not only a piece of shit person, he weaves his hair into the berets he knits, casting spells on all who wear them.  He told me so.  His identity as Lee Gray is a FAKE IDENTITY!  His real last name is Gonzales.  He fled CA and lived in a cave to avoid prosecution.   The Wild Gourmet is a fraud who has mold infesting everything in his house which he uses for his "gourmet" cooking.  Sickening, and it made me very ill.  He gets his bread he caters to weddings from the food bank.  Makes a small fortune with this scam.

LEON FOREST AND LEE GRAY BLUES BAND,  YOU ARE SCUM BAGS, LIARS, THIEVES AND SCAMMERS.

You've ruined my piece of mind, trashed my reputation with your malicious lies and now stolen from me.  My people come to my home and tell me of all you've done and it tortures me emotionally and has for nearly a year!

TRUTH is an absolute defense for libel, just in case you are considering suing me for this article.  Your defamation, slander and libel broke my heart and kept me out of the public eye for almost a year, and has cost me income and extreme depression.  Now I learn that you stole from me not once, but many times.

May the wrath of God befall you both and anyone else who is involved in this!

To all other blues artists:  Consider yourself warned.  The original tracks will be sent to the CBA to prove your plagiarism.  Blues Societies were founded to stop just this sort of abuse of blues artists.  Whether or not I ever get a day in court against you, you have now been exposed to those within the industry whose respect you have now lost, IF you ever deserved any at all.  They will eventually also be posted here for others to hear the comparison and I'll prove my case right here.  The court of public opinion will find you guilty!

SCUMBAGS!

Silvertooth Slim and Teressa BluesBabe Brewer Blow My Blues Away and Are Born With The Blues

http://www.silvertoothslim.com/slimsmusic.cfm

"I recently had the pleasure of cutting two singles with Silvertooth Slim.  It was wonderful to collaborate with him on Blow My Blues Away and Born With The Blues.  Slim's English charm and his deep Delta Blues sound and heart, makes him a unique artist in today's world.  To hear and collaborate with this young man from England who sounds like he just stepped out of the 1920's or 1930's Mississippi Delta, was wonderful and very different to behold.  You will hear that in these tracks.  Slim is one of a kind.  I look forward to cutting and writing more songs with Silvertooth Slim."
- Teressa "BluesBabe" Brewer

"Welcome To The Blues"
About Silvertooth Slim:

From a very young age "Slim" has always been the creative type. This is mainly because being creative allowed him to escape for a few moments from the troubles and hardships that his life had to offer. It was in his late teens that he first picked up a guitar, and quite literally made a noise. Over the passing years "Slim" grew to love and become very passionate about his chosen instrument. He taught himself and also learned from books and videos for the first 8 years of his guitar life, then he took a few lessons after that just to try and put all he had learned into perspective. He learned many guitar styles, but nothing that really helped him communicate the experiences of his downtrodden life.

One day he walked into a small guitar shop to buy some strings. It was there he heard a man preaching the blues with his guitar. He Instantly fell in love with the sweet, honest & melancholic sounding music that was flowing from the sound hole of the mans guitar. This is when the penny dropped; "this his how I'm gonna tell my pain," he said to himself. From then on he began to learn the blues and write music and lyrics with truth and feeling.

His aim is to write and play his own style of blues that touches the listener in some way and he also loves to cover his favorite blues songs that were written by the legends and pioneers of the genre. Over the years of playing, "Slim" has acquired and coined his own unique sound, consisting of both standard acoustic and resonator guitars complimented by the age old practice of slide playing, which involves using a piece of metal or glass tube on his pinky finger to play certain notes and chords.

For the guitar enthusiasts out there, "Slim" chooses to tune his guitar to an "open chord" which is much more suited to slide playing than standard western tuning. "Slim's" favorite tuning and the tuning you will hear him play most of his songs in, is (Open G) also known as "Spanish Tuning", however; he does sometimes venture in to (Open D) when he is feeling a little more experimental, which is also known as "Vesta-pol Tuning".

What People Are Saying:

"The sweet sound of Slim preachin' the blues."

"Good ol' back porch blues."

"Music for the soul."

He writes songs about his past and present life experiences and expresses his thoughts and feelings about his own life through his simple but effective lyrics. The most attractive part of "Slim's" music has to be his very authentic and seasoned sounding voice; that is not technical, but very powerful in the sense that when you hear it; you instantly know and understand that he means every word that is coming out of his mouth. He really has got that "true down home feeling".......

TORNADO DEMOLISHES BRANSON, CASSVILLE, HARRISBURG AND MORE CAUSING AT LEAST 13 DEATHS AND MASS DESTRUCTION IN 3 STATES

My youngest daughter Crystal called me today from Branson, telling me about what she experienced during the tornado which hit Branson this morning.  It was a horrifying experience and she said the their home swelled the roof lifted several times and were lucky that their home was left intact.  Many of my other friends, colleagues, fellow performing artists and the theaters are not left standing and have been demolished.

I am thankful that my family survived unharmed.  My prayers go out to all those affected by the monster storm that hit Branson and other areas.

The following coverage is the AP story on the storm.  I will keep you informed as the inside scoop from my people there comes in to me, which will include reports from fellow reporters and Branson's Mayor Reanne Presley. The latest news and recovery information including information for those who want to volunteer is here.   If you are in Branson and would like to tell your tornado experience, please don't hesitate to contact me here, or here.

You are all in my prayers.  As I await more information and stories from my Branson family, friends, fans and colleagues, I'll keep you informed too. In the meantime, here is the latest from KFVS12.com and The Associated Press.....

From the Associated Press:

BRANSON, Mo. (AP) — A powerful storm system that produced multiple reports of tornadoes lashed the Midwest early Wednesday, roughing up the country music resort city of Branson and laying waste to small towns in Illinois and Kansas. At least 13 people were killed.
An apparent twister rolled through Branson just before 1 a.m. and seemed to hopscotch up the city's main roadway, ripping roofs off hotels and damaging some of the city's famed music theaters dangerously close to the start of the heavy tourism season. More than 30 people were reported hurt, mostly with cuts and bruises.
"If it was a week later, it'd be a different story," said Bill Tirone, assistant general manager for the 530-room Hiltons of Branson and the Branson Convention Center, where windows were shattered and some rooms had furniture sucked away by high winds. Hotel workers were able to get all guests to safety as the storm raged.
John Moore, owner of the damaged Cakes-n-Creams '50s Diner, said the tornado seemed to target the city's main strip, moving down the entertainment district, right through the convention center, across a lake and into a housing division. He said the tornado appeared to "jump side to side."
"The theater next to me kind of exploded. It went everywhere. The hotels on the two sides of me lost their roofs. Power lines are down. Windows are blown out," Moore said. "There's major, major destruction. There has to be millions dollars of damage all down the strip."
At least 10 people were killed in the southern Illinois town of Harrisburg after a storm leveled much of the community of 9,000 people.
In Missouri, one person was killed in a trailer park in the town of Buffalo. Two more fatalities were reported in the Cassville and Puxico areas.
At least three people were critically injured in the small eastern Kansas town of Harveyville, much of which lay in rubble.
The tornadoes were spawned by a powerful storm system that blew down from the Rockies on Tuesday and was headed across the Ohio and Tennessee river valleys toward the Mid-Atlantic region.
Corey Mead, lead forecaster at the U.S. Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., said a broad cold front was slamming into warm, humid air over much of the eastern half of the nation.
From Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, at least 16 tornado sightings were reported from Nebraska and Kansas across southern Missouri to Illinois and Kentucky, according to the storm center, an arm of the National Weather Service.
Jennifer Verhaalen, a long-term resident at the Hillbilly Inn Motel in downtown Branson, said she saw a white funnel cloud followed by a wall of rain as the storm closed in on the town around 1 a.m.
She said she retreated to a back bedroom with her husband as the storm slammed into two other hotel buildings tearing the roof off one.
Across the road, a strip mall lay in tatters, its roof missing and several walls collapsed. As the sun rose Wednesday, business owners picked through the remains of their stores.
Keith and Glenna Bartley, tourists from Kingsport, Tenn., said staff at the Grand Victorian Hotel where they were staying ushered them to the basement around 1:30 a.m.
Branson has long been a tourist destination for visitors attracted to the beauty of the surrounding Ozarks. But the city rose to prominence in the 1990s because of its theater district, which drew country music stars and other music celebrities including the Osmond and Andy Williams. It is about 110 miles southeast of Joplin, which was devastated by a monstrous twister last May that killed 161 people.
Farther north, rescue crews waited for sunrise to begin searching a trailer park south of Buffalo where at least one person was killed.

The television special is part of the Emmy Award-nominated PBS “In Performance at the White House” series and will premiere Monday, February 27 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS stations nationwide (check local listings).

“In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues” will honor the musical form that sprang from the Mississippi Delta and flourished in the Westside of Chicago with deep roots in Africa and slavery. The performances will explore those roots and pay homage to the great figures of the Blues and the songs they made famous by tracing the influence of the Blues on modern American music from soul to rock’n’roll. This event, including the President’s remarks, will be available for press via the White House Press Corps pool feed and streamed live on www.whitehouse.gov/live, www.pbs.org/whitehouse and www.blackpublicmedia.org. The program will also be broadcast at a later date via the American Forces Network to American service men and women and civilians at U.S. Department of Defense locations around the world.

“It is our ongoing delight to bring this concert series to the American people in collaboration with the White House,” noted Sharon Percy Rockefeller, president and CEO of WETA. “This event marks the forty-eighth production of the WETA ‘In Performance at the White House’ series and continues to demonstrate how public broadcasting brings rich cultural experiences to a wide audience.”

“The Blues are not only the most American of art forms, but the fundamental inspiration for some of the most important artists of our generation,” said Paula A. Kerger, president and CEO of PBS. “Since 1978, ‘In Performance at the White House’ has spotlighted some of our nation’s best performers, and celebrated our nation’s heritage. The upcoming special on the Blues continues in this tradition and celebrates music born out of struggle that touches the soul and inspires the mind and holds a unique place in American arts.”

“The quintessentially American tradition of the Blues, which combines African roots with New World sensibilities, speaks eloquently to our unique history as Americans, reaching back to the founding of this nation during a time of slavery. ~It is an honor to bring the songs and great performers of the Blues to the White House and to the American public in a broadcast during Black History Month,” commented Jacquie Jones, executive director of the National Black Programming Consortium (NPBC).

“This concert at the White House celebrates the musical contributions that the Blues have made to our culture,” said Patricia Harrison, president and CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.~ “Through public media, all Americans are able to explore and experience this unique part of our country’s heritage.”

Whitney Houston's Found Dead at 48 After Grammy Party

The AP reports that Whitney Houston has been found dead, which has been confirmed by her publicist.  Whitney was one of our most beloved and famous super stars.

Only six weeks into 2012 and we have already lost two of our greatest super star female singers in the business.  First Etta James and now Whitney Houston.

As the story of how she died unfolds, other coverage reveals that she attended a Grammy party with her daughter Bobbie Kristina Brown and being considered for a seat as a judge on one of the newest television talent shows, The X-Factor.

There are photos of her with blood running down the outside of her left leg and appearing very angry as she she seems to be escorted with her arms being held on each side of her by two different individuals and allegations that she was belligerent.  Something isn't right.

Rest in peace Whitney.  You were a magnificent talent and had the voice of an angel.  You will be dearly missed.
